SIGITE Membership Discount
Please be aware that there is a significant discount on registration rates for SIGITE and/or ACM members. For example, early member registration is $290 and early non-member registration is $340, a savings of $50. SIGITE membership costs $20, which makes becoming a member worthwhile. Unfortunately, the registration system does not allow you to become a member as you register. If you wish to obtain the cheaper member rates, you must become a member using the ACM system prior to registering for the conference.
Registration Rates
Early online registration is available until September 10, 2018. Late online registration begins September 11, 2018 and runs through September 30, 2018. Registration after September 30, 2018 must be on-site. Please note that the registration deadline for authors is August 13, 2018. Paper, lightning talk, and poster submissions that do not have any author registered for the conference will be pulled from the proceedings. Panels must have all authors registered for the conference in order to be published. Attendance at both conferences, the chairs’ workshop on Wednesday, the conference reception on Thursday, the conference lunch on Friday, and any other workshops are included in the price listed. The registration system allows you to purchase extra reception and lunch tickets for people accompanying you to Rochester. Extra reception tickets are $XX per person, and extra lunch tickets are $XX per person.

Visa Requests
For visa support letters, refer all requests to supportletters@acm.org. Please allow up to 10 business days to receive a letter. All requests are handled in the order they are received. The information below should be included with the request:
- Your name as it appears on your passport
- Your current postal mailing address
- The name of the conference you are registering for
- Your registration confirmation number
Conference Excursions
This year’s conference attendees will have the opportunity to participate in private excursions Wednesday evening prior to the start of the conference, and Saturday afternoon at the conclusion of the conference. Please note that participation in the excursions requires the purchase of a tickets that are not included in the conference registration fee.
Jungle Queen BBQ Dinner Cruise – $49.95 10/3/18 5:15 – 10:30 PM
Wednesday night’s excursion will be a 4-hour Sightseeing BBQ Dinner Cruise. The Jungle Queen Riverboat cruise is a fully narrated cruise down the “Venice of America,” Fort Lauderdale’s New River, sailing through Millionaire’s Row with homes of the Rich and Famous, spectacular Mega Yachts, and sights beyond belief. Enjoy an all-You-Can-Eat Dinner featuring BBQ Baby Back Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Peel & Eat Shrimp, Baked Beans, Steak Fries, Cole Slaw, Dinner Rolls, Iced Tea and Water. Drinks are available for purchase at full service bars on the ship and tropical isle. There is Live Entertainment during dinner, and a 4-act Variety Show after dinner. Be prepared to experience beautiful lush foliage and flowers throughout our tropical isle, and a glimpse of some Exotic Animals. The excursion will take place on Wednesday, October 3rd at 5:00 pm, leaving from the hotel. Transportation to and from the dock will be provided. Everglades Tour – $55.00 10/6/18 2:00 – 6:00 PM
Saturday afternoon’s excursion will be an Airboat Tour through the Everglades—one to never forget. Climb aboard a state-of-the-art vessels and venture into the heart of the River of Grass for an exciting Everglades airboat ride, where expert captains take you on a narrated tour of the Everglades, and show you some of Florida’s most exotic wildlife. With miles of wetlands before you, you’ll journey deep into the Everglades, zipping across the “River of Grass” at top speeds, with an expert tour guide leading the way aboard a spacious and safe boat that offers comfort and covered protection from all weather conditions. Your Everglades airboat tour is 60-minutes long, offering plenty of time to meet some of the area’s most exotic and unforgettable wildlife in their natural habitat. This excursion also includes a separate Alligator presentation lasting 15-25 minutes (starts about every 30 minutes). This tour will take place on Saturday, October 6th at 2:00 pm, departing from the hotel. Participants will return to the hotel at approximately 6:00 pm. Transportation will be provided, and the registration system allows you to select an extra ticket for a guest.
