The ACM SIGITE Conference on Information Technology Education occurs every year in October. In 2018 the conference will take place October 3rd – 6th. The conference will run all day Thursday and Friday with post-conference events occurring on Saturday morning.
Beginning in 2018 there will no longer be a companion conference – the Research in IT Conference (RIIT) – instead, the SIGITE conference will encourage a track to support Research in IT.
Selected papers for the SIGITE conference address issues around teaching and learning (pedagogy) of IT, implementations and applications of IT, and IT research. Authors consist of IT faculty, professionals, as well as graduate and undergraduate students.
Proceedings of the conferences are included in the ACM digital library.
